– Download the zip file from the below link and place it in your internal SD card.

– If you haven’t done so already download the new Darky app from the Market.
– Open it and set up the options you want to enable. The green tick means the option is enabled and a grey tick means disabled. Tick Wipe . Most of the other options are up to you (please consult the notes below).
– Use the Darky app to choose the zip file by tapping ‘Flash/Install File from SDCARD’ under the ‘Generaland then browse to where the zip file is located, then tap it.

For everyone else (e.g. using a Froyo-based DarkyROM release or those coming from a different ROM altogether), you’ll need to do the following:
– Download DarkyROM v10.2 Resurrection Edition or DarkyROM JVT RE Base and flash it via Odin (included in the zip file for it) in order to give yourself a fresh start. Make sure the .pit file is selected and that repartition is ticked in Odin before proceeding. Bear in mind this will wipe your phone’s internal memory during the flashing process.

– Download the new Darky app from the Market.
– Open it and set up the options you want to enable. The green tick means the option is enabled and a grey tick means disabled. Wipe is optional at this stage. Most of the other options are up to you (please consult the notes below).

NOTES
– Regardless of which set of instructions you follow you need to make sure you get to a stage where all lagfixes are enabled before flashing the JVR base ROM itself. You can check either by rebooting into recovery and going to the ‘Voodoo’ menu, or by downloading the Voodoo Control app and checking the status by scrolling towards the bottom of the list. Whichever method you choose be sure to then reboot your phone before you go any further, enabling it on its own doesn’t automatically activate it.
– Avoid enabling ad-hoc in the Darky app, this is known to break WiFi for some users.
– It’s recommended to let the Darky app install the kernel and modem that come with this release (i.e. by enabling each one with a green tick).

– It’s recommended as always to charge your battery before flashing any new ROM to save you re-calibrating the battery later.

– Some people have reported problems with getting root access for some apps as well as the lack of the Superuser app after flashing this ROM. This doesn’t mean that this ROM isn’t rooted, the su binary app that allows for root access for certain apps is included in this ROM. It’s just that you won’t be able to manually control which apps are allowed root access. For the moment you’ll need to install the Superuser app manually from the Market until an update or a fix is released for this. If after installing it you still get problems such as the Superuser app Force Closing, try either clearing the app data in ‘Settings’ > Applications’ > ‘Manage applications’, or uninstall the app then reinstall it.*
