The Samsung Galaxy S is added to the list of devices for which was released a port of Android 4.0 Unofficial Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of the operating system from Google.
The source code of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has been released on 14 November, but the developers are working to porting it to other Android smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S joins the group of devices that have received an unofficial release of the operating system, for the moment, is used exclusively by Samsung Galaxy Nexus (officially).
